Registered Nurse

Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12

Experience: Minimum ICU/MICU experience required

Active RN license required

Description: 12-hour shifts available for nights from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. Every other weekend is required. Floating to other units may be required based on need. Patient population primarily includes adults. Nurse-to-patient ratio is 2:1. Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT). Stroke and neuro care. Arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis. Adherence to isolation precautions and infection prevention protocols.

Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy. Common patient diagnoses include multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, liver failure, sepsis, and post-cardiac arrest. Special procedures may include continuous glucose monitoring for hyperglycemia and externalized IV pumps for COVID-19 patients. Essential equipment includes NxStage CRRT, Alaris IV pump, GE cardiac monitor, and GE ventilator.
