Clinical Laboratory Scientist IThe Clinical Laboratory Scientist I is a Licensed Medical Technologist whose primary responsibility is to perform laboratory testing on patient samples. In this capacity, the CLS performs the preanalytical, analytical testing phases and post analytical and is responsible for quality control, equipment maintenance and all reporting and documentation.New Graduate - Clinical Laboratory Scientist Training Program.Preferred: Previous healthcare experience.Education:Required: Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or Clinical Laboratory Science.Training:Required: American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification.Proficient with computer.speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position.Operate/troubleshoot basic equipment required for the position.Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; work independently with minimal supervision.Licensure:Required: Clinical Lab Scientist-CA (CLS); Limited Licensed CLS may be accepted in lieu of a General CLS.
