Registered Nurse (RN) - Hematology/Oncology Clinic - Full Time

Texas Oncology is looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the Round Rock location. This full‑time position (Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑5 pm) offers Level 1, 2, or Sr based on experience.

Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate and promote continuity of care consistent with established standards.

Assess health status by interviewing patient regarding current status and medical history.

Assess patient/family needs and provide teaching and instructional material.

Facilitate clinical operations and patient care.

Facilitate and schedule consultations, pre‑testing, diagnostic tests or procedures, referrals and future appointments for patients.

Triage patient phone calls and document relevant information in the patient chart.

coordinate services related to patient care.

Assist patients in locating available community resources.

Act as a resource to LPN/LVNs and medical assistants.

Graduate from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred).

Hold an RN state license and be current with state board licensing.

0-3 years nursing experience, preferably one year in oncology (Level 1).

3-5 years nursing experience (Level 2) and oncology certification preferred.

Five years nursing experience (Level Sr).

Work environment may involve exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medical preparations and other conditions common to an oncology/hematology clinic environment.
