University of Arkansas - Pulaski Technical College at North Little Rock is an integral part of the Arkansas Technical and Community College System maintained by the State of Arkansas. The Administrative Specialist III reports to the Executive Director of Business and Industry Center and is responsible for receptionist and clerical duties, coordinating office activities, preparing special reports, maintaining class files, performing general purchasing and human resource duties, maintaining schedules, calendars, and rental agreements, overseeing the inventory and M&R process, and developing, revising, and recommending administrative policies and procedures as directed by supervisor. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency policy.
- Provides receptionist duties including answering the phone and front-line customer service.
- Performs clerical duties including typing staff meeting minutes, assisting the staff as needed, printing certificates, assisting the instructional staff with printing, binding and other class preparation services.
- Creates all class files including registration information, evaluation forms, grant forms, student sign-in sheets and other documents required.
- Maintains a variety of data files and records for the center including all workforce education reporting which includes courses offered, financial records, attendance sheets, class schedules, and other required data.
- Maintains master calendar for the center and utilizes the data to develop the security schedule.
- The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite; Word, Excel, Outlook
