The Advice Portfolio Construction team is hiring anEngineering Managerat the M3 level. As an Engineering Manager within theInvestments, you will lead agile, high-performing engineering teams delivering highly critical, rapidly growingcloud-native platformsthat directly enhance advisor productivity and improve the client experience.

Actively building and deploying microservices and AWS resources

Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew. Provide guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Set performance standards, review performance, and make informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.

Provide expert level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases. Ensure that expected application performance levels are achieved.

Research issues and perform root cause analysis.

Communicate with key stakeholders on project issues and implications. Understands and can clearly articulate the business value of the work being delivered, translating technical outcomes into client and crew impact. Identify opportunities for continuous quality improvement of technical standards, methodologies, and technologies.

Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout product life cycle to identify issues. Participate as a technical consultant at other project meetings. Minimum of eight years related work experience, with at least five years of project management experience.

Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Graduate degree preferred.

Strong expertise in IT project management, Agile methodologies, and SDLC best practices with experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and enterprise IT solutions.

Understanding and management of key DevOps metrics.

Proficiency in risk management, budgeting, and IT governance. Building and frequently deploying microservices, AWS resources, Glue, SQL and more

Java, Spring Boot, node.js, and Python development experience.

AWS ECS / Vanguard ECSV3 skills and experience.
