Temp-Phlebotomist Tech

You are applying for a position through Medix, a staffing agency. Our client is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to join their team in an ambulatory care setting. The primary responsibilities of this role include performing phlebotomy, managing lab supplies, and ensuring OSHA compliance while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens.
Document per QA standards and maintain logs and records.
Manage and verify lab supply inventory.
follow blood bank policy.
Operate and maintain lab equipment.
Perform waived testing under CLIA and record control data.
Dispose of hazardous materials properly.
Maintain clean, stocked work areas.
Safeguard patient and staff confidentiality.
Prior Phlebotomy Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Phlebotomy Certification (preferred but not required)
Technical skills related to phlebotomy and lab equipment operation
Availability to work Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 5 pm.
