Security Officers - Overnight Monitoring
Navy Federal Credit Union
To protect, preserve and safeguard the employees, members and physical assets at all Navy Federal locations. Conduct security patrols of assigned Navy Federal facilities and site perimeters to assure worker safety, protection of site assets and to identify and report safety hazards and malfunctioning equipment
Respond to medical emergency calls; contact police, fire and rescue as required; coordinate with facilities management as needed for assistance
Conduct investigations and enter information into the security reporting system
May be required to staff the Security Monitoring Center, including operating and monitoring the Avigilon camera system, building access control system and documenting unusual activities
May be required to monitor facility equipment condition boards (e.g., and report equipment malfunctions
notify Branch Manager, VP/Manager of Security or police as required
Monitor and staff site security/reception desks to receive visitors, answer calls, and control facility access
Fingerprint new hires; Oversee shredding and destruction of confidential documents
or private corporate security
Familiarity with physical security functions, systems, processes and procedures
Basic organizational, planning and time management skills
Basic skill navigating multiple screens and PC applications and adapting to new technologies
Effective word processing, database, and spreadsheet software skills
Familiarity with Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies and procedures
- Florida Class D and G Armed Security License
- 2-5 years of experience in law enforcement or 2-5 years military (Security Forces or Military Police or combination of these MOS’ with other MOS’), or 5+ years private corporate security or a mix of these backgrounds
- Professional security certifications (i.e. ASIS CPP, APP, PSP, etc.)
- Proficiency with incident reporting, systems monitoring, and multitasking across various technical platforms simultaneously
6:00PM - 6:00AM, 12-hour rotating night shift (Full-time on-site)
