Contractor - Senior HR Generalist

The Role The Senior HR Generalist is a trusted resource on the People Operations team, owning day-to-day HR operations such as; employee data, benefits and leave support, compliance reporting, and lifecycle initiatives from onboarding to offboarding. We're looking for someone who thrives on ownership, brings strong judgment to ambiguous situations, and is energized by building better processes.

Employees are expected to work 2-3 days per week in our HQ office.

What You'll Do Own employee data integrity across People systems through regular audits, issue resolution, and ongoing maintenance

Manage the HR Ticketing Tool and related Slack channels, serving as the primary point of contact for employee questions and support

Administer the background check program for new hire onboarding process and ensuring accurate and timely set up for every new employee

Partner with HR Business Partners and the Accounting team to surface process gaps and support workforce and organizational change execution

Maintain compliance across cadenced HR reporting (EEO, BLS, AEIS, and more) and manage the HR compliance calendar

Lead the Employee Handbook introduction session for new hires and keep handbook content current through proactive audits

What You'll Bring 4+ years of experience in a Human Resources related field

Experience facilitating processes through the full employee lifecycle: recruiting, onboarding, performance management, off-boarding preferred

Ability to manage tasks and projects with minimal guidance, escalating higher-risk decisions appropriately

Experience in Enterprise level Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS)
