Production Welder- Manufacturing

Job Description The Career: At QA1 , we design and build the high‑performance suspension and driveline components that fuel passion for classic and modern performance vehicles. As demand grows, we’re adding an experienced Welder to our Team in Mooresville, NC You’ll play a key role in transforming raw materials into precision‑crafted parts used by car builders and enthusiasts across the country. Every weld matters and your attention to detail ensures our customers get the quality they count on.

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday from 6:30am - 5:00pm plus overtime pending business need

What You Will Do: Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques.

Cut, shape, and assemble metal components according to blueprints and technical drawings.

Inspect welded joints and components to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Maintains tools, gages, and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe manner

Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of welding activities and materials used.

Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals and support overall operations.

The Critical Skills and Experience You’ll Need: High school diploma or GED with advanced education in welding technology preferred

2+ Years of Welding Experience

Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or stick welding techniques;

Ability to use inspection tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.).

Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, both independently and as part of a team.

Basic computer skills.

Basic math, reading and English communication skills.

Comfortable with team interaction or alone under busy conditions with minimal supervision.

Must be available and open to the idea of cross training + learning.
