Urgent Care - PRN Advanced Practice Provider

Joseph Medical Group (SJMG) as a PRN Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) for our Express Care (Urgent Care) clinics in Bryan/College Station. This is an exciting opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative environment, supporting the healthcare needs of our local communities.
You will thrive in a fast-paced setting, displaying exceptional interpersonal skills and a desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. While prior experience in an Urgent Care setting is beneficial, it is not mandatory; we happily consider new graduates who are eager to learn and grow with us.
This PRN position offers the flexibility to pick up shifts that align with your availability, including 12-hour weekday and 8-hour weekend shifts, while contributing to the vital care delivered in our Express Care clinics.

Shift Schedule: Flexible shifts, including 12-hour weekday shifts (Monday-Friday) and 8-hour weekend shifts.
Obtain and accurately record comprehensive medical histories.
Identify and prescribe appropriate pharmacologic agents and non-pharmacologic interventions, adhering strictly to the guidelines set by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners, Texas Board of Medicine, Prescriptive Authority/Collaborative Practice Agreement, and DEA regulations.
Provide comprehensive education and counseling to patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and preventative care.
Make appropriate and timely referrals to specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care.

Solid clinical expertise with a steadfast commitment to positive patient care outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, fostering clear and effective interactions.
Willingness to serve as a collaborative team member and a clinical leader in the workplace.
Strong customer service orientation, ensuring a positive patient experience.
Master's degree graduate from an approved Physician Assistant (PA) program.
Current, unencumbered Texas license as a Physician Assistant
National Board Certification in your respective field (e.g., Experience: 1-3 years of experience preferred, but new graduates are happily considered and encouraged to apply!
