Hospice Registered Nurse - Full Time and Flexible

Full-time Hospice RN - Livonia, MI
We are seeking a compassionate, dynamic, energetic, organized and efficient registered nurse with hospice experience to join our team as a Full‑time Hospice RN. The role focuses on providing emotional support, helping patients live their final days with dignity and comfort, supervising team members, and participating in interdisciplinary care planning.

Key Responsibilities

Initial and ongoing assessment of patient’s physical, functional, psychosocial and environmental needs

Implement the individualized plan of care and revise as needed

Maintain compliance with AdvisaCare Hospice policies, procedures and Medicare regulations

Consult with and educate patients and families on disease processes, self‑care techniques, end‑of‑life care and ethical concerns

Supervise paraprofessionals providing patient services

Prepare clinical and progress notes and participate in IDG conferences

Participate in hospice performance improvement programs

Maintain high customer satisfaction with clients, families and caregivers

Communicate information using current processes and technology within the organization

Work on a full‑time on‑call basis—current on‑call hours are 5 pm to 8 am. Position requires on‑call responsibilities.

Qualifications

Current Michigan RN license in good standing

Minimum 1 year hospice experience

Empathetic approach to patients and caregivers

Ability to adapt to patient status and needs on a full‑time on‑call basis

Participate in field visits daily and in weekly office meetings as indicated
