GREENPOINT LANDFILL LABORER IS WANTED .... The Landfill Spotter is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting of materials and guiding customers safely in the landfill. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles prepping for the Equipment Operator. * Direct Customers where to safely dump their debris at the landfill. * Follow appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) as guideline for operating and maintaining equipment. * Attend weekly/monthly safety/operations meetings. Employees in this job classification must attend and participate in corporation sponsored training courses as assigned. * Ability to learn and use interpersonal skills relating to good customer service * Ability and willingness to work in a team environment * Ability to read, write and comprehend reports well enough to complete daily assignments. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. * Walking, Jogging, Twisting, Crouching, Lifting * Sufficient stamina for steady work pace throughout the day * Ability to utilize all Personal Protective Equipment as mandated by company. The Landfill Spotter is responsible for ensuring proper placement and sorting of materials and guiding customers safely in the landfill.

Inspect materials and sort items or materials into piles prepping for the Equipment Operator.

Direct Customers where to safely dump their debris at the landfill.
Follow appropriate standard operating procedures (SOPs) as guideline for operating and maintaining equipment.
Attend weekly/monthly safety/operations meetings.
