General Dentist – Endodontic Focus – Palo Alto, CA Gentle Dental is hiring a Part-Time General Dentist with a focus on Endodontics and Root Canal Therapy in Palo Alto, California. Gentle Dental offers an opportunity for a General Dentist with advanced endodontic skills to focus primarily on root canal therapy, endodontic diagnosis, and related procedures within the scope of general dentistry.

Endodontic Procedures & Responsibilities This opportunity is designed for a General Dentist who has experience performing root canal treatments and wants to build an endodontic-focused practice.
Anterior root canal therapy
Molar root canal therapy
Endodontic examinations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
Emergency root canal treatment
Diagnosis and management of dental pain and endodontic emergencies
Evaluation and referral of complex endodontic cases requiring specialist care
Collaboration with Endodontists and other dental specialists when appropriate
Patient scheduling will be structured to support efficient workflows while allowing sufficient time to deliver high-quality endodontic care.
All treatment is performed within the dentist's training, competency, and the scope of general dentistry permitted under California law.

General Dentist Qualifications
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school
Active California dental license or ability to obtain one before employment
Current DEA registration, CPR certification, and NPI
Demonstrated clinical experience and confidence performing root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures
Strong endodontic diagnosis and treatment planning skills
Commitment to evidence-based dentistry and high-quality patient care
Interest in developing and maintaining an endodontic-focused general dentistry practice
