Licensed Practical Nurse -nursing Ambulatory Care

Job Description First Steps Nursing and Therapy is seeking a compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one care for a pediatric patient in the home setting in the Cibolo area.
Care Needs: G-tube, O2, breathing treatments, legally blind, non-ambulatory
Care Needs: Trach, Vent, ambulatory
Schedule: Sundays, 12 PM–8 PM
Patient: 9-year-old female
Care Needs: Trach, Vent, G-tube, non-ambulatory
Saturdays, 6 AM–6 PM
Provide direct, hands-on care to assigned patient
Assess patient condition and document observations
Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
Communicate changes in condition to supervisor and/or physician
Active Texas RN or LVN license (unencumbered)
Training provided
Provide care in the patient’s home environment
Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and infectious diseases
Ability to work flexible schedules and respond to patient needs
May require travel within local service area
