Associate Attorney - Insurance Defense Litigation (Remote)

Payne & Blanchard, LLP is a growing Dallas-based litigation defense firm that has been representing clients throughout Texas for over 45 years. The firm engages in the general civil practice of law with an emphasis on litigation matters. The firm’s primary areas of practice include personal injury defense, construction litigation, transportation law and litigation, insurance coverage, and premises liability litigation.

Role Description Payne & Blanchard is seeking an attorney with one to ten years of litigation experience. This is a full-time Associate Attorney role located in Dallas, Texas with the flexibility for some remote work. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for managing cases from inception to completion, including providing legal representation and advice to clients, drafting legal documents, attending hearings, taking depositions, attending mediation, and attending trial.

Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA accredited law school

Licensed to practice law in Texas

One to ten years of litigation experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year, based on experience, with additional compensation possible through bonuses based on billable hours
