Part Time Substitute School Nurse

Wake Preparatory Academy is accepting applications for a 1:1 Registered Nurse Substitute to help a medically fragile student during the week. This position takes place over the 2026-2027 school year. Providing medical support to a medically fragile student.
Part-Time hours, three days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
Elementary school setting with a medically fragile student
Position is on-site only (no virtual)
Must hold at least an Associate's degree in nursing or higher
Valid RN License required (must be licensed in the state of practice, if the practice state is part of the compact, a compact license will be accepted)
School Nurse Certification (may be required with 2 years of employment)
Emergency and pediatric experience
1:1 care experience
