Merchandise Planner
Dana-co, a leading designer and distributor of premium intimate apparel brands including Natori, Skarlett Blue, and Oh La La Chri, is seeking a Merchandise Planner to support strategic merchandise planning and inventory management across our wholesale business. This role supports key retail partnerships across department stores, specialty retailers, and marketplace accounts.
The Merchandise Planner will partner closely with Sales, Production, Operations, and cross-functional teams to align demand, inventory strategy, and financial performance. Build and maintain seasonal, monthly, and account-level merchandise and inventory plans
Support demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management processes across wholesale channels
Incorporate customer forecasts, bookings, replenishment trends, and sales performance into planning strategies
Analyze sell-through, inventory levels, margin performance, and business trends to identify risks and opportunitiesPrepare weekly and monthly reporting to support business decisions and forecasting accuracy
Partner closely with Sales, Production, Sourcing, and Operations teams to align inventory flow and delivery timing
Maintain and update planning data within ERP and reporting systems
Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed
27 years of merchandise planning, inventory planning, allocation, or related experience within wholesale apparel
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
Experience working with ERP or planning systems; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Merchandising, or a related field preferred
