Warehouse Responsible and Delivery

Ferguson is excited to hire a Warehouse Manager for our Durham, NC branch. The role will oversee our two warehouses and lead a team of associates.

Location & Shift Durham, NC – two warehouse locations on separate campuses.

Shift starts 7:00am; ability to cover any shift as needed.

Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for warehouses; act as a change agent and drive continuous improvement.

Build, communicate, and implement vision for growth and operational excellence.

Act on site, engaging directly with associates on the production floor.

Promote and enforce daily safety; craft a safe work environment.

Increase and maintain high levels of associate engagement throughout operations.

Provide clear communication to associates and counterparts.

Drive high levels of quality in customer shipments, ensuring inventory integrity.

Maintain and develop a productive warehouse through hiring, training, and professional development for all associates.

Lead and oversee associates in unloading and stocking inbound shipments; order picking; packaging; shipping outbound orders; and cycle counting.

Ensure daily and accurate cycle counts and high cleanliness standards throughout sites.

Maintain warehouse security and equipment safety, reporting incidents to management.

Qualifications Minimum 3 years of distribution management experience, leading 3+ employees in a large warehouse environment.

Demonstrated leadership in mentoring, coaching, training, and performance management.

Ability to build a positive, engaging work environment for associates.

Exceptional interactive communication skills across all levels of the organization.

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Experience managing a team of delivery drivers is a plus.

Material Handling Equipment certification.

Proficiency in OSHA and DOT regulations.

Compensation & Benefits Pay range: $4,124.70 to $9,075.00 per month for salaried role (or hourly equivalent). This role is eligible for bonus or incentive plan. The starting salary may be higher based on local or state wage requirements.
