Description:
This position involves caring for both Medical/Surgical and PCU status patients.
If assigned to a PCU group, the staffing ratio is 1:4.
For a Medical/Surgical group, the staffing ratio is 1:5.
Floating to Telemetry and Medical/Surgical units is expected.
There is a cancellation policy in place that allows for a two-week notice.
Staff may be called off up to 48 hours in advance during the 13-week period.
The charting system used in this position is EPIC.
This role requires certifications in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS.
