Head of Operations & Business Management

As Operations Manager of Flooring and Facility Solutions (FFS) at United Rentals, you will leverage your leadership skills to build a new business from the ground up, coordinating and directing the delivery of "white glove" service to facility maintenance and restoration customers. By working closely with the District Manager, you will ensure safety, equipment training, world-class customer service and standard process compliance to ensure effective and efficient operations. Support District Manager in implementing actions to achieve financial objectives

Assist the District Manager in ensuring compliance with all company policies

Oversee sales efforts and business initiatives

Responsible for performance management of direct staff including FFS Outside Sales Representative, Mechanics and other staff as applicable

Promote a culture of safety and discipline through leadership, exemplary personal compliance, accountability and communication

High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred

Basic knowledge of the construction rental equipment industry or related

Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills

Proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
