Fulltime - HR Generalist

Type: In-Office Full-Time
Travel: Supporting a broad portfolio of businesses the organization values collaboration accountability and continuous improvement while providing centralized business support functions that help drive operational success across its companies.
As the organization continues to grow they are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to contribute across key HR functions including recruitment onboarding employee relations benefits administration compliance and HR operations. This opportunity offers broad exposure to the employee lifecycle and is well suited to an HR professional looking to build a strong foundation while making a meaningful contribution to the employee experience.
As the Human Resources Generalist you will provide administrative and program support across key HR functions while serving as an important resource for employees candidates and hiring managers.
HR Administration & Recordkeeping
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HRIS systems.
Process personnel transactions including hires transfers promotions and terminations.
Maintain records in accordance with company policies and applicable legal requirements.
Generate standard HR reports and metrics as required.
Recruitment & Onboarding
Support job postings and applicant tracking system activities.
Facilitate onboarding activities including new hire paperwork and orientation.
Partner with hiring managers to support a positive candidate and onboarding experience.
Employee Relations & Support
Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries related to HR policies benefits and procedures.
Assist with employee engagement programs and initiatives.
Help ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and company policies.
Support HR compliance initiatives including EEO I-9 and other regulatory requirements.
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
~24 years of experience in an HR or administrative support role.

Internship or HR-related experience.
SHRM-CP PHR or progress toward a professional HR certification.
Experience working with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Strong interpersonal skills and a customer-service mindset.
Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer.
Ability to access and navigate all departments within the organizations facilities.
