This position provides comprehensive HR support across employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and payroll processing. To thrive/succeed as the Human Resources Generalist, you should have:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred; 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, with hands-on experience in payroll processingProficiency with HRIS, payroll, timekeeping, and Microsoft Office systems, including strong Excel skills.Strong knowledge of payroll practices, employment laws, and HR compliance, with exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.Multi-state payroll experience preferred.Your responsibilities as the Human Resources Generalist will include:Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers on HR policies, employee relations, benefits, performance management, and workplace matters.Manage and support recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee lifecycle activities, including candidate coordination, orientation, personnel records, and HRIS administration.Support employee relations and performance management processes, including investigations, corrective actions, performance evaluations, coaching, and employee development.Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, company policies, and HR best practices.Develop HR reports, workforce metrics, and analytics while contributing to employee engagement, retention, and organizational culture initiatives.Manage accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees, including review of timekeeping, wage changes, bonuses, commissions, deductions, and other payroll adjustments.Coordinate payroll tax compliance, garnishments, levies, child support orders, and other required deductions and filings.Reconcile payroll and support month-end, year-end, and W-2 processes in partnership with Finance and Accounting.Maintain accurate, confidential, and audit-ready HR and payroll records, including I-9 and employment eligibility documentation.Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to HR and payroll information requests.Monitor regulatory changes and assist with updating HR, payroll, and employment policies and procedures to ensure ongoing complianceGreat workplaces don't happen by accident—they're built by people who care.
