Security Professional Flexible Position

Overview The Armed Security Officer provides first response to emergencies, enforces federal law and assimilated state law, and conducts mobile patrols.

Responsibilities Provide access control, traffic control and conduct walking and motorized armed security functions.

Conduct personnel, vehicular, building, & facility checks and package & parcel inspections.

Must be able to work flexible hours to include weekends and holidays if needed.

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications List Minimum High School Diploma or GED.

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Two years of service in the United States Armed Services (including Reserve or National Guard), or

Any combination of two years of experience in physical security (as a security officer - armed or unarmed) and service with the United States Armed Services (including Reserves or National Guard), or

Associate's degree in a Security or Law Enforcement related field, orsuccessful completion of a police officer’s basic training academy.

Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

List Skill in operating a personal computer and standard office equipment.

Must have proficiency in a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
