Head of Project Management

Job Description

Responsibilities Day-to-day execution, project controls, project engineering, cost, risk, and business management of a commercial construction project.

Manage all project team members, including senior project engineer, project engineers, superintendents, and field office coordinator.

Mentor, develop, and train project engineers for fast‑paced growth.

Maintain detailed, hands‑on knowledge of project scope.

Handle cost control, billings, collections, change management, cash flows, and monthly status reports.

Serve as the key point of contact with the owner and architect.

Challenge and support the jobsite and self‑perform work teams.

Ensure project completion, financial success, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction.

Coordinate and manage the execution of planning and scheduling for the project.

Qualifications Flexible, detail‑oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and meet deadlines.

Excellent listening and strong communication skills.

Ability to identify and resolve complex issues.

Ability to create and support team morale.

Demonstrated understanding of building processes and systems.

Comprehensive knowledge of cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (Prolog or similar), accounting cost management software (CMIC or similar), and scheduling software (Primavera or similar).

5+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in healthcare, higher education, advanced technology, life sciences, or commercial markets.

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

Strong work ethic and a “can‑do” attitude.

Benefits & Compensation Salaried position with anticipated starting pay range of $125,000.00–$165,000.00.
