Position Overview
The Level II Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent patient care in accordance with established standards. Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, this role emphasizes clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and the application of research and evidence-based practice.
Responsibilities
Deliver nursing care that adheres to established protocols and standards.
Assume expanded responsibilities, which may include offering guidance as a charge nurse, mentoring new staff as a preceptor, and participating in committee activities.
Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Engage in continuous professional development and education activities.
Participate in quality assurance processes and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
Requirements
Telemetry experience is required.
Current RN license in New York.
A minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience is necessary.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.

Schedule
The position involves rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. There may also be on-call and callback responsibilities based on unit needs.
