Role Overview
Provides direct patient care in a 6-bed CVICU, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use. Participates in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while engaging in professional development. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, considering patient preferences, cultural, emotional, and psychosocial needs. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of patient care. Must work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness at all times.

Qualifications & Skills

RN license required

Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree; Bachelor's preferred

ICU experience required; CVICU experience preferred

No supervisory experience needed

Strong communication, assessment, and patient education skills
