A skilled, patient-focused Certified Medical Assistant to assist our physicians and nurses in providing routine, preventive and diagnostic patient care and medical management to children, adolescents and adults.

Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent Years of Experience: Previous experience as a medical assistant in health setting preferred

Certifications: Medical Assistant Certification required

Good written and verbal communication skills in English.

Good computer skills.

Ability to meet approved minimal physical and medical standards.

Prepare patients for the providers by obtaining and documenting medical history, vital signs, growth parameters, and reason for patient visit.

Performance of visual and auditory examination.

Maintains documentation related to patient care.

Moderate physical effort in carrying charts, forms, supplies and equipment. The primary work environment is a busy multi-cultural ambulatory care setting. Exposure to infectious disease and bloodborne pathogens is possible.
