Tessera is seeking a Site Manager for the Warner Robins, GA location. The Tessera Robins AFB Operations Manager leads a diverse workforce of technicians and professionals engaged in vehicle maintenance activities, supply part purchasing and tracking, and logistical support activities that directly support the Robins AFB mission. This role serves as the sole on‑site leader and primary point of contact for all government representatives, including the on‑site Contracting Officer’s Representative.
Lead the site team, including subcontractors, to deliver outstanding customer results both functionally and contractually; serve as the central point of contact with the customer for performance of all work under the contract.
Lead customer engagement and communications; leverage the full team to maintain performance excellence and solve tough problems in partnership with the customer; continuously pulse customer stakeholders for improvement input and understand customer culture and mission.
Support Tessera's mission of Providing Opportunities for People with Disabilities by partnering with recruiters, vocational specialists, HR partners and Workforce Development teams to attract, retain and develop a diverse workforce.
Drive a world‑class safety management system and safety culture through leadership engagement, safety risk management, safety assurance and safety training and promotion; Improve technician and support staff knowledge, skills and abilities through targeted recruiting, formal and on‑the‑job training, coaching and performance feedback; support staff in utilizing Tessera's tuition assistance program for skills training and certification programs.
Develop strategic vision for the site and contract and convert this strategy into action through disciplined planning and project management.
Focus on continual process improvement and combat operational complacency.
Financial management: understand profit and loss drivers, seek judicious use of resources, preserve and improve the bottom line.
Contract management: understand full contract requirements, assign responsibilities, brief external and internal customers and resolve issues.
Operational excellence: leverage the leadership team to drive superior performance results, including capacity, on‑time completion, backlog, quality and customer ratings.
Change management: design and implement change successfully; lead completion of key change initiatives for the customer and/or internal to the site.
Plan, profitability, resource leveling, production, status reporting and coordination with employees, customers, Contracting Officer’s Representative and outside agencies.
Establish project objectives, procedures and performance standards within company policy and contract PWS boundaries.
Coordinate work schedules, day‑to‑day tasking and operational guidance to ensure the mission is completed on time, within budget and according to quality, security, safety and environmental standards.
Control and track property including materials, equipment and supplies used for the contract.
Travel to home office conferences, flagship sites and outlying contract sites as needed.
Update and implement the site's safety, quality, awards and training programs.
Assure ISO 9001 processes are developed, provide actionable data and incorporate them into daily business processes; ensure all quality benchmarks are met.

Bachelor's degree in logistics, project management, business management or related field required.
Staff leadership and management experience, including employee relations, development, supporting technical training and strong customer relations.
Experience leading and managing safety systems and positive safety cultures.
Experience in union environments and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
Experience in federal or DoD contract management.
Working knowledge of project management principles; experience managing risk, tracking and following up on multiple issues; developing and implementing program and project plans and effectively operating under complex contracts.
