Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit within a short-term acute care hospital setting
Monitor and manage patients with telemetry needs, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Maintain patient ratios of 1:6–1:7 while delivering safe, high-quality nursing care
Float to like units with like patients as needed to meet facility staffing needs
Complete all required onboarding modules prior to start date and attend mandatory staff meetings
Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November) as directed
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience
Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
All required compliance modules must be completed prior to the Thursday before the start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
Telemetry experience with demonstrated ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias
Familiarity with acute care hospital environments and associated patient populations
