Packers/Inspectors - Weekend Shift

Full time

PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the Packer-Inspector is responsible for the shift activities related to the inspection and final packaging of all finished product at the facility. Record keeping and general administrative duties. ? Maintenance of cleanliness of plant and facility. ? Understanding of all packing and palletizing requirements. ? Ability to communicate effectively with shift supervisor, operators, and quality technicians. ? Inspection of packaging materials and supplies prior to use. Able to work continuous operation schedule (days/nights/weekends). ? Be available to work a reasonable amount of overtime, if required. ? Communication of quality issues to production personnel in a timely manner. ? Previous experience in a manufacturing facility a plus.
