We are looking for contagiously friendly, warm, and energetic people to be the face of our brand to the guests and sell our flexitarian menu by award winning Chef Ype Von Hengst.
Our service bartenders support the bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked with wine and spirits and our house-made syrups and purees. They also help make drinks at the service bar.
Full time and part time positions available.
Weekends and holiday availability is required for this position.

The Service Bartender is the key Associate in delivering the Silver Diner brand to our Bar Guests. You are responsible for providing Silver Diner hospitality to our Guests, support servers and bartenders with craft beverages and prepping bar syrups and stocking. It’s a position designed to grow into a bartender ole.
Supporting the bartender as assigned to by Manager
Create and deliver all alcoholic beverages to Silver Diner standards
Running beverage and food to bar guests supporting bartenders using position points to ensure proper delivery:
Beverages
Serve and announce dish with appropriate condiments
Pre-bus dirty plates as Guests finish and deliver to dish room
Take dirty plates from bartender and deliver to dish room or bar dish area
Complete bus of and reset, tables and bar
Knowledge of all food and beverage specs
Maintaining a clean station stocked to Silver Diner standards

BRAND DELIVERY:

Knowledge of SMG scoring standards for Speed of Service and Accuracy of Order
Know and ensure delivery of the Silver Diner Brand
Properly portion all self-service items (i.e.: PERFORMANCE MEASURES
Guests are happy and there are no complaints
Preferred: minimum 1-2 years experience as a barback or service bar in a casual restaurant
The work area includes: food, refrigeration, knives, toasters, syrup dispensers, plates/bowls, slippery floors, and, at times, high temperatures. It is a physically intense environment requiring stamina and the ability to tolerate heat, walk-in coolers, lift/maneuver boxes weighing up to 35 pounds, and stand/walk on hard surfaces for 10-12 hours per day. Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages according to applicable state law.
We require that everyone has weekend and holiday availability for this position.

Previous barback experience is preferred.
