• We are seeking an experienced Full-Time Night Shift Registered Nurse to join the Operating Room team at the University of Maryland Capital Region Health. This is an opportunity to step into a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment where you will play a critical role in delivering safe, efficient perioperative care across a wide range of procedures. You will collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and interdisciplinary teams while practicing at the top of your license in a supportive, team-driven setting.

Full Time Schedule: 6:45 p.m.– with rotating weekends and holidays required.

Deliver independent, high-quality perioperative care across a broad range of surgical cases; Function as the primary circulating RN; maintain full accountability for patient safety, clinical outcomes, and continuity of care throughout the surgical episode.

• Coordinate seamlessly with surgeons, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary team; serve as a clinical resource and escalation point for complex or high-acuity situations.
• Champion Patient and Family Centered Care; Contribute directly to quality outcomes through NSQI participation, effective handoff practices, and strict medication safety standards.
• Lead and support performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and unit-level initiatives that enhance surgical outcomes and workflow efficiency.
• Maintain full regulatory compliance; Full Time Availability: 6:45 p.m.– with rotating weekends and holidays required.

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland or Compact eligibility in accordance with MBON required.

• Minimum of 2–3 years of Operating Room RN experience required.
• Proven ability to independently circulate surgical cases in a fast-paced OR environment.
• High-acuity experience and strong clinical judgment in complex surgical settings strongly preferred.
