Insurance Defense Paralegal Needed ASAP

Overview AmTrust Financial Services, Inc., a fast-growing commercial insurance company, has an immediate need for an in-house Paralegal to work in our NJ Staff Counsel office.

This position is hybrid 4 days a week in office out of our Princeston NJ office.

Responsibilities Research and analyze law sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decision and legal articles to prepare legal documents including; Compile and prepare draft discovery responses.

Draft complex motions

Interact with people of all levels of the company as a member of the legal team

Capability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-oriented setting

Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner

Manage and prioritize completing deadlines

Maintain data integrity in computer platform

Support multiple attorneys in the defense of workers’ compensation cases.

Qualifications Formal paralegal certificate

3 or more years of experience as a paralegal

2 years demonstrated experience in defense litigation

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
