Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in Macon, Georgia. This role involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment within a Level 1 Trauma Hospital, attending to a diverse patient mix including cardiothoracic and vascular surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

Manage care for cardiothoracic/vascular, cardiology, pulmonology, and general medical/surgical patients
Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care for progressive care patients
Administer and monitor insulin, heparin drips, and other IV medications
Conduct wound care, post-operative monitoring, and telemetry interpretation
Coordinate discharge planning and patient education, particularly renal and fluid management

Requirements of the RN - PCU

Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) certification
Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
