(Overnight Hotel Housekeeping Houseperson

What You'll Do As a Houseperson, you’ll play an essential role in supporting our Room Attendants and maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and service expected in a luxury hotel. Assist Room Attendants with heavy items, including mattresses, linens, and housekeeping supplies.

Deliver fresh linens, towels, and other supplies to Room Attendant carts, closets, and assigned areas throughout the day.

Collect soiled linens from Room Attendant carts, closets, and assigned areas and transport them to the laundry.

Maintain the cleanliness and organization of floor closets and vending areas, including removing trash, wiping shelves and counters, sweeping, and waxing floors.

Keep floor closets organized by removing and properly storing items that do not belong in these areas.

Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests, including the delivery and retrieval of linens, cots, housekeeping supplies, and other requested items.

Respond to guest concerns and complaints with professionalism and urgency, taking appropriate action to ensure complete guest satisfaction.

Monitor housekeeping supplies and amenities, using resources responsibly and minimizing waste.

Promote teamwork and exceptional service through effective daily communication and coordination with Housekeeping and other hotel departments.

Collect newspapers and other materials for recycling, as needed.

Assist with periodic deep-cleaning projects and other housekeeping initiatives.

The role also requires frequent bending, kneeling, standing, walking, and moving throughout the hotel.

Literate – You should have a solid understanding of reading, writing, and basic mathematics.

Flexible – The ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, is essential.

The hourly pay range for this role is $26.07 to $34.76 per hour .
