Descriptio nThe Optometrist is responsible for examining the eyes and other parts of the visual system. They also diagnose and treat visual problems and manage diseases, injuries, and other disorders of the eyes. They conduct eye examinations, prescribe eyeglasses or contact lenses as needed. The Optometrist ensures that the primary goal of efficiently providing vision care services that exceed customer expectations is achieved, while improving clinical and financial operations

s.Perform comprehensive eye and vision test
s.Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucom
a.Provide personalized temporary and permanent solutions to sight issues based on each patient’s specific case and medical histor
y.Prescribe medications, eyeglasses and contact lense
s.Advise patients on proper eye care technique
s.Promote eye and general health by evaluating and counseling patient
s.Keep updated and accurate medical records for all patient
s.Book next appointments in cases where re-examination is require
d.Train patients on how to use and maintain their contact lense
s.Refer eye doctors and ophthalmologists when patients need to undergo a surgery or in cases of severe eye injurie
s.Maintain patient, physician, and employee privacy and confidentiality per polic
y.Maintain an appropriate professional appearance and demeanor in accordance with Company policie
s.Maintain strict compliance with State, Federal and other regulations (e.g., OSHA, WC, HIPAA, ADA, FEHA, DOL, HR policies and practices
