In addition, the position is assigned cleaning and maintenance work both inside and outside the hotel, in hallways and public areas. The Houseperson is expected to perform various other duties, such as delivering items to guest rooms and assisting guests with their baggage.Your Day-To-DayClean and organize back-of-house areas, including doors, walls, closets, lockers, refreshment areas and fixtures to maintain a clean, organized and presentable work environment.Perform tasks, including but not limited to dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures, vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, shampooing carpets, washing windows, cleaning and waxing floors, removing and disposing of trash and emptying ashtrays.Retrieve and properly dispose of trash from guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house areas.Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.Maintain regular attendance in compliance with LodgeWorks standards as required by scheduling, which varies according to hotel needs.Comply with LodgeWorks standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient hotel operations.Complete projects as determined by the Executive Housekeeper.Perform deep-cleaning tasks and special projects (e.g., flipping mattresses, moving furniture) as needed.Run supplies and service items to guest rooms as requested.Report Lost and Found items immediately to a supervisor.Bring all dirty linen from guest rooms to the laundry area to be washed.Who You AreA team player with a heart for hospitality.Customer-focused, with guests, clients and employees at the forefront of your thinking.Aware that a good reputation is a huge asset to a hotel and committed to being a representative of that great reputation.Capable of standing for an entire shift or for an extended amount of time.Practiced, with six months' related experience in hospitality or a service industry.BenefitsWe are proud to offer competitive wages and the following benefits for full-time employees:PTOHotel and restaurant discounts available at select LodgeWorks propertiesHealth, vision and dental benefits401(k) plans with matching contributionsPaid holidaysShort-term and long-term disability (company sponsored)Referral bonusesFlexible spending accountsLodgeWorks is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
