We are currently seeking a Staff Nurse to join our OB Resource Pool team. This position will be cross‑trained to work/float in OBGYN, Nursery, Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics and NICU. This position is a 0.75 FTE (5 shifts per pay period), 12‑hour shifts, nights, every third weekend plus on call per unit policy. Note: This role will also be trained as a charge nurse.

Within the context of the Hennepin Healthcare System Patient and Family Centered Care model, and under general supervision, the registered nurse provides and coordinates nursing care by:

Protecting, promoting, and optimizing health

Documenting interventions and an individualized plan of care

1. year of recent maternal health professional nursing (RN) experience
2. years of current professional nursing (RN) experience in an inpatient hospital setting

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

Possession of a valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the State of Minnesota

Bachelor of Nursing degree strongly encouraged. Advancement in academic education will be discussed as part of individual professional development during the annual performance review.
