Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist to join our team in Cary, NC.Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30a-4:30p and Friday 7:30a-12p Rotating Saturday 8a- 12pJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program or 6 months' or more experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:1 year or more of phlebotomy experienceAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agencyAble to pass a standardized color blindness testFlexibility to work overtime as neededExceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionIf you are passionate about helping people and have a drive for service, then Labcorp could be a great next career step!We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist to work in a Patient Service Center. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company.
