Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.Labcorp is seeking a phlebotomist float to join our team in Raleigh, NC.Work Schedule: This is a Per Diem/Casual position and hours will be as needed on Friday, Saturdays and Sunday based upon business needs, not to exceed 19 hours per weekJob Responsibilities:Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisMaintain patient and specimen information logsProvide superior customer service to all patientsAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when neededOther Duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentPhlebotomy certification or completed Phlebotomy training program or 6 months' or more experience as a phlebotomistPreferred Qualifications:1 year or more of phlebotomy experienceAdditional Job Standards:In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agencyProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness testMust have a Valid Driver's License and clean driving record with reliable transportationMust be 21 years' oldAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
