RN - Nursing Travel RN - Children's Hospital

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for an Antepartum position requiring an OH or compact RN license and prior L&D or postpartum experience.

Requirements Active OH or compact RN license required at time of consideration
Current BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of postpartum experience required
IV start skills and labor & delivery (L&D) experience required
Epic EMR experience required
Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
2 professional references required, including at least one from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable as second reference; coworker references not accepted

Responsibilities Antepartum unit within a hospital setting
Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
May float to units of similar acuity
Uses Epic EMR
Provide comprehensive antepartum and postpartum nursing care including IV therapy, medication administration, and monitoring of high-risk conditions
Skilled in care related to cesarean section, multiple births, postpartum hemorrhage, and pregnancy-induced hypertension
Experience with newborn care including cord care, newborn assessment, phototherapy, and neonatal abstinence syndrome preferred
Familiarity with Level 1 Nursery settings preferred
Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
Former employees eligible for travel assignments after 6 months away from the facility
Current employees of the health system are ineligible for travel assignments at this location
RTO must be submitted with contract and limited to 7 days or less
Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly after signing contract due to strict compliance timelines
