```htmlJob Opportunity – Neuro Telemetry Registered Nurse – Texas Start Date: September 21, 2026
Schedule: 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling; 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule; Level II Trauma Center with 379 staffed beds offering comprehensive stroke and epilepsy monitoring services
Patient ratios of 1:4 during days and nights, 1:5 on weekends on a 29-bed neuro telemetry unit
EPIC electronic health record system with interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams
Diverse patient population including stroke, TIA, trauma, epilepsy monitoring, and neurosurgical patients (craniotomy, ACDF, TLIF, subdural hematoma)
Dedicated 4-bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit with continuous EEG monitoring capabilities
Current Registered Nurse license (Compact state license required at time of submission)
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required; Experience with telemetry, remote monitoring, neuro stepdown, and 1:4 patient ratios
Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, code team protocols, peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
Neuro-specific experience preferred: CVA care, post-TPA protocols, craniotomy, aneurysm repair, intracranial bleeds, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, and neurosurgery patients
EPIC experience preferred
Willingness to float between units as needed
Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
