You'll support our dedicated dental team by preparing for examinations, obtaining dental records, and ensuring every child leaves with a smile.

Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly
Inform patients about proper oral health care to prevent infections after dental procedures
Help with administrative duties such as welcoming patients, taking phone calls, making appointments for dental visits, ordering supplies, and handling billing
Write down treatment information after every visit and ensure patient records include current dental histories
Walk patients through a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile
Sterilize and lay out dental instruments and get all equipment ready, such as x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials, to prepare treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
Use "tell-show-do" and other kid-friendly techniques to explain treatment in a way that's fun, not scary
Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos
Set up and break down operatories, sterilize instruments, and follow all infection-control protocols
Manage inventory and help keep our supplies stocked and ready
Able to perform basic computer and data entry tasks
Associate’s degree from an accredited dental assistance program required
1–2 years of chairside dental assisting experience (pediatric experience is a big plus, but we're happy to help you grow into it)

Comfort with digital charting and dental software (Eagle Soft is a bonus)
