PRN Phlebotomist (Monday-Friday- Dayshift)

We are currently seeking Health Screeners to join our team across the U.S.

About the Role: These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of those companies.
What Would Make You Successful in This Role? Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savvy, and excellent communication skills.
Essential Job Functions: Perform and record biometric testing results including, but not limited to, height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI (Body Mass Index)
Blood testing including fingerstick and/or venipuncture blood draws in a fast-paced environment
Preparation of specimens for storage or additional processing
Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric station(s)
May need to transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions and information in accordance with department and regulatory requirements
Must have morning availability (Monday-Friday) for event-based employment
May perform other duties as assigned
Education: Minimum High School Diploma or GED is required
Current national certification in Phlebotomy from a Premise Health-approved organization OR one of the following:
Certificate/Diploma and transcripts from an accredited Phlebotomy program with hands-on externship completed
Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year or a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
Active state-specific Phlebotomy certification is required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA, WA, and LA
Experience: One (1) year of health screening or phlebotomy experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills: Punctual, responsible, and able to work with limited supervision
Professional demeanor and appearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to provide proof of professional credentialing
Must be available to work a PRN, event-driven position
Ability to pass a full background check
Reliable transportation required
Must be computer/internet savvy
Knowledge and skills necessary to collect blood samples from patients
Ability to work independently in a safe and appropriate manner in accordance with safety and organizational policies and procedures
Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred
