MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, and professional HR Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team! and embody our core values of diversity, integrity, passion, professionalism, respect, and responsibility.
About The Role Our Human Resources team is looking for a knowledgeable and people-centered HR Relations Specialist who is passionate about creating a fair, respectful, and compliant workplace. In this role, you’ll help ensure we uphold employment laws and HR best practices while supporting leaders and employees through investigations, leave of absence administration, and policy guidance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities Conduct internal investigations regarding potential policy concerns and prepare clear, thorough summaries of findings.
Ensure consistent application of company policies and procedures.
Review HR documentation for accuracy and completeness prior to submission to agencies.
Provide additional support and take on special projects as needed.
