This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in indirect tax compliance while playing a key role in the growth and scalability of the tax function.Develop deeper expertise in sales and use tax compliance across state, city, and local tax authorities.• Gain hands-on exposure to new jurisdiction registrations and tax requirements as the business grows.• Play a visible role in strengthening and scaling the company's tax compliance processes.• Partner closely with accounting and operational teams throughout the organization.• Build broad exposure to multi-state tax reporting, audits, and compliance initiatives.• Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy.• Key Responsibilities for the Tax Accountant:• Prepare and support sales and use tax filings across multiple state and local jurisdictions.• Research tax requirements and manage registrations in new jurisdictions.• Reconcile sales tax accounts and investigate filing discrepancies.• Maintain exemption certificates and supporting tax documentation.• Support tax audits, notices, compliance requests, and reporting requirements.• Partner with accounting and operations teams to improve tax processes and reporting.Qualifications for the Tax Accountant:• 4+ years of sales and use tax, indirect tax, or related tax compliance experience.• Experience with multi-state tax filings, registrations, and jurisdictional requirements.• Strong Excel skills and experience working with ERP or accounting systems.• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Taxation, or a related field preferred.• Location: Garden City, New York | On-site#INOCT2026 #LI-KR1
