Boulder Community Health is seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform high-quality diagnostic Ultrasound exams in the areas of Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Pediatric, and small parts imaging. You will assist the radiologists with procedures and ensure optimal patient care. Sonographer Level II, III and IV are based on additional certifications in High Risk OB(HROB); and/or Fetal Echocardiography.

Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care, ensuring a positive experience throughout the diagnostic imaging process.

Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations across a variety of specialties (e.g., abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, small parts) using sound judgment, proper scanning techniques, and accurate anatomical measurements to support clinical diagnosis.

Collaborate closely with Radiologists and interpreting physicians by providing high-quality images and relevant clinical information to aid in timely and accurate interpretation.

Assist Radiologists and physicians with ultrasound-guided invasive procedures, maintaining sterile technique and ensuring patient safety throughout.

Routinely inspect, clean, and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance; report malfunctions promptly to biomedical engineering and department leadership.

Participate in ongoing quality assurance and quality control initiatives to maintain accreditation standards and improve patient outcomes.

Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call rotations as required, providing emergency diagnostic imaging services.

Follow proper infection control protocols and safety procedures for handling and disposing of biohazardous and infectious materials.

Efficiently utilize the hospitals electronic medical record (EMR) and radiology information systems (RIS/PACS) for scheduling, image archiving, and reporting.
