LPN - Overnight Assisted Living Care

Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Manager to oversee daily nursing operations in a long-term care facility.

Responsibilities Include

Supervising licensed and non-licensed nursing staff, including evaluations, disciplinary actions, and coaching.

Performing administrative tasks such as completing medical forms, reports, and charting.

Maintaining quality assurance programs and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Coordinating nursing services to ensure seamless resident care.

Making independent decisions and communicating effectively with staff, residents, families, and external agencies.

Applying knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and regulations relevant to long-term care.

Demonstrating leadership and supervisory skills in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications Include

Current LPN license for the practice state.

Experience in healthcare supervision preferred.

Post-secondary education with the ability to read, write, and follow directions.

Flexibility to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.

Strong communication and decision-making skills.
