~ Batch heat treat using furnaces for crankshafts

Use of quality tools
~Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing, and evaluation.

• Devises sampling procedures and designs and develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data.
• Establishes programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement, and analytical equipment and facilities.
• Develops and implements methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devises methods to assess cost and responsibility.
• Compiles and writes training material and conducts training sessions on quality activities.
• Develops and generates statistical reports on inspection activities and results, new product or process testing results, etc. Maintains currency with respect to technical skills by attending training classes, special technical and administration courses, seminars, exhibits and trade shows as needed.
• All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline, or equivalent education and experience, is preferred
