The Program Coordinator provides oversight and coordinates programming for the assignedsupportive housingprogram. Programing will directly addressguestbarriers and enable a smooth transition from homelessness intothe nextstep ofhousing.They work withtheProgram Manager tofacilitatedevelopment and expansion of services and facilitymanagementthrough engaging in the community and building networks. Time is divided between leading shift coverage,supervisingdirect servicestaff, administrative tasks, schedule management, HMISmanagementand case management support.Coordinate daily operations ofprogram.
Liaise with local community service providers, City staff and King County staff and programs in facilitation ofparticipant referrals.
With Program Manager,assure the maintenance of all necessary logs, records, reports, and statistics.
Participate in ongoing training and program development.
Train and ensure the enforcement of program policies and agency rules.
Develop schedule and ensure shift coverage.
Serve as the first point of contact for staff call outs and no shows, which may require finding relief coverage or covering the shift yourself.
Manage staff scheduling and ensure adequate coverage to provide service delivery.
In support of the program,workwith Program Manager and the Housing Services Director to helpfacilitateprogram improvements and developments including staffing decisions, and auxiliary services.
Build andmaintaina network of community providers and services to addressguestneeds, serving asliaisonwith referring agencies.

Carry out supervisory duties in accordance with the agency policies and applicable laws. Directly supervise Shift Supervisors, Program Assistants , and Relief Staff.

Knowledge ofprogram servicesandlocal resources for individuals who areexperiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, as well as the ability to develop a network of providers to servethe needsof agency clients.
Demonstrated ability tomaintaina caseload, provide case management, crisis counseling, advocacy, and referral services to clients.
Ability to follow agency policy and procedures tomaintainsafety and security within the facility.
Ability to enter data accurately; Work independently and as part of a team, particularly to exercise sound decision making in the absence of supervision, with strong collaboration skills.
Modelsound interpersonal boundaries and emotional intelligence.

Ability and aptitude with technology necessary for successful day‑to‑day functioning inbusinessenvironmentincluding variousdatabases, Microsoft OfficeSuite including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.,Minimumof2years’experience in ahuman servicesetting dealing withtopicsofhousing instabilityor supportive housing, mentalhealth, substance use, employmentinsecurity, domestic violence,required.
A minimum of1years’ experience in direct supervision/management of people, desired.
A minimum of2years' experiencein case managementor a direct service role serving those living unsheltered, desired.
Awareness and/ortraining aroundissues of equity, intersectionality, and belonging, desired.
Experience working in an environment where language may be a barrier, desired.
Current WA State Food Handlers Permit, desired (If not current, will be sponsored within 1-month of hire).
Work experience is a key factorforsuccess in this role. A degree in social work or related field would be a complement to the required experience.
